"Do you provide alcohol as part of your packages?"
No, we do not provide alcohol as we are a dry hire bartending service. We adhere to Alaska state liquor laws, which prohibit us from purchasing, selling, or transporting alcohol for mobile businesses. Upon booking, we'll collaborate with you to plan your bar service, design a custom drink menu, and provide a shopping list of alcohol needed for your event. You bring the booze, and we'll bring the magic!
"What's included in your service?"
We supply everything needed (accept the alcohol) for your unique experience! From the portable bar (or mobile bar) to the ice, coolers, mixers, juices, garnishes, bar tools, and bartenders. All packages feature setup (2 hours prior to the event), cleanup, 4 hours of service accommodating up to 60 guests by a TAPS certified bartender. Additionally, we offer personalized drink menu planning, an alcohol shopping list, and the use of eco-friendly products—everything essential for crafting an unforgettable guest experience. We are flexible and can accommodate additional service hours and guest counts upon request. Please note we typically dispose of trash in designated dumpsters or trash cans at the venue and do not dispose of trash separately, if this option is unavailable, kindly inform us in advance.
"Do you serve mocktails/sober events?"
100%! We happily accommodate any event, whether it's strictly sober, a child's birthday, sweet sixteen, or a graduation party where you want fun mocktails for your underage guests. We've got you covered. Mocktails can be provided upon request, although it doesn't affect the price. Even though there's no alcohol involved, these specialty drinks still require all the materials included in our packages to create the perfect mocktail!
"Do you cater anywhere in Alaska?"
Yes, we're based in Anchorage and serve from Fairbanks to Homer. While there's no travel fee for the greater Anchorage area, venues outside of Anchorage may incur an additional surcharge of $1/mile for travel expenses, plus lodging if necessary. Please contact us to discuss the location of your event in Alaska.
"Why hire a TAPS certified bartender when my friend offered to do it for free?"
While your friend Bob may whip up a fantastic rum & coke, it's better to have a trained bartender serving your guests. As professionals, we ensure responsible serving, preventing guests from being over-served or served too rapidly, ensuring everyone enjoys the entire evening. It can be challenging to cut off a friend or family member if needed. Our priority is to ensure everyone has a memorable and enjoyable time at your event!
"Do you have/need a Liquor License?"
No, we do not have a liquor license, therefore cannot supply/sell any alcohol. Please ensure you consult with your venue before making any deposits with us to confirm their policies regarding the types of alcoholic beverages you intend to supply.
"Can I recoup my expenses by setting up a cash bar or charge entry?"
No, unfortunately, we only offer services for open bar setups. As listed above, we do not carry a liquor license and it would be against the law for us to charge for alcohol. However, if you decide to purchase your liquor from Costco (which we recommend), they do accept returns in case of over-purchasing. (keep up to date with their return policies)
"How do I know how much alcohol to buy?"
We like to use this alcohol calculator to determine what kind of drinkers will be present, and the general preference of the crowd. It determines the amount of beer/wine/liquor with accuracy, allowing for the least amount of leftover product after your event.
"Are there any requirements?"
Yes. Your event must be a private affair with an open bar. We are not permitted to work public/advertised events or cash bars unless the event thrower is a business with their own liquor license for us to work under.
However, if you own a bar, brewery, restaurant, or if you're interested in renting our services for high-volume bartending at your concert or festival, and you have a liquor license or special event permit, please reach out to us - we'd be thrilled to collaborate with you!
"Do I need a downpayment?"
Yes. Following our initial phone consultation, you'll receive a proposal along with a contract to secure your date. A non-refundable retainer fee of $275 will be required at this stage. Upon completion of your retainer payment, you'll be guided to schedule a meeting where we'll meticulously plan your event together. The remaining balance is due two weeks prior to your event. In the event of a necessary postponement, we'll collaborate with you to reschedule for a future date, subject to availability on our calendar.
"What's next?"
Complete our consultation form and we will reach out to schedule your free phone consultation where we will go over the basic details of your event and packages/add-ons. Once we have your event date on the books, the real fun starts. Planning your custom bartending experience!
Returns & FAQ
We want to make sure you love our products, and quality is guaranteed. If there is a print error or visible quality issue, we'll replace or refund it. For any quality issues, be sure to provide clear photos of the products on a flat, well-lit surface and include this in your email to us at contact@support.craftybarkeeper.com. This quick and simple step will help us provide a speedy resolution.
Because products are made to order, we do not accept general returns or sizing-related returns.

CANCELLATIONS
Product Orders Cancellation Policy
All of our products are made to order, especially for you. If you wish to cancel or amend your order, please use the link provided in your confirmation email. You can edit your order at any time before it goes to production.
Once your order has gone to production, you may be eligible for a replacement/resolution, depending on the situation. After you’ve received your order, you have 30 days to address any quality issues.
Donations and Tips Cancellation Policy
Please note that donations and tips are non-cancellable and non-refundable. Once you have completed your checkout for donations or tips, we cannot cancel or refund it.
Membership Subscriptions Cancellation Policy
You can cancel your membership at any time via your profile settings page. Please note that cancellations will take effect after your current membership subscription period ends. There is no refund or cancellation for the current membership subscription period.
DAMAGED/QUALITY ISSUES
For the fastest resolution, please include a photograph demonstrating the quality issue of the print or the damaged area of the item, along with your order number. The most optimal pictures are on a flat surface, with the tag and error clearly displayed.

REFUNDS POLICIES
Product Orders Cancellation Policy
Because products are made to order, we cannot issue refunds, returns, or exchanges for orders except for those with quality issues. Orders are non-refundable unless they meet these requirements and you provide support with a photograph demonstrating the quality issue.
PayPal: Any refunds processed will show back up in your PayPal account balance within 24 business hours.
Credit Card: Any refunds processed via your credit/debit card will show back up in your bank account within 7 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
Donations and Tips Cancellation Policy
Donations and tips are non-refundable. Once you have completed your checkout payment, we cannot cancel or refund your donation or tips.
Membership Subscriptions Cancellation Policy
Membership subscriptions are non-refundable. You can always cancel your membership at any time, and this cancellation will take effect at the end of your membership subscription period. There is no refund for the current membership subscription period that is ongoing.
Locked Messages Refund Policy
Locked messages are non-refundable. Once you have completed your checkout payment, we cannot cancel or refund your locked message. If you have issues accessing the locked message after payment, please contact us at contact@support.craftybarkeeper.com. We’ll be happy to troubleshoot the problem and find a resolution for you.
ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS
We accept payments via credit/debit cards, PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and depending on your location, we also accept Klarna/AfterPay and local payment methods.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
WILL I HAVE TO PAY ANY ADDITIONAL TAXES ON MY ORDER IF I’M LOCATED OUTSIDE OF THE US?
International orders may be subject to import taxes, duties, and other customs charges. The charges vary by country, and at this time, we are unable to calculate them in advance. For more information regarding your country’s customs policies, please contact your local customs office. If such a fee indeed gets imposed on your package, you are responsible for its payment.
